Bluecoat - 4509 Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

Bluecoat 4509 is a plasticizer - free polyvinyl acetate dispersion which is used as adhesive for stock papers.

Bluecoat 4509 is a product of medium viscosity. The dispersion is suitable for machine application processes, as well as for screen or brush application. If required, small quantity of water may be added to thin down the material for proper application.

Applications

• Bluecoat 4509 is suitable for labeling on HDPE, LDPE, PET and PVC bottles.
• Bluecoat 4509 can be used for manufacture of stock paper.
• Bluecoat 4509 is also suitable for use in carpet backing.
• Bluecoat 4509 is suitable for preparation of coating composition for sound proofing.

Storage

The container should always be kept tightly closed, so as to prevent thickening and skin formation due to evaporation of water. Pieces of skin / formation should be removed each time, prior to use. In case water separation is observed, simple stirring with a wooden rod could be resorted to for making the material homogenous once again.

In summer months or in hot regions, the containers should be stored in a cool place as far as possible. At all events, exposure to direct sunlight and heating of the containers on one side only, should be avoided.

Shelf Life

Bluecoat 4509 has a long shelf life exceeding 6 months to 12 months provided they are stored properly as mentioned above under storage.

Packing

Bluecoat 4509 is available in 50 kgs.

We recommend that before using our product in full scale production, the customer should make his own tests to determine the suitability of the product for his own purpose under his own operating conditions. Since the circumstances under which our product is stored, handled & used, are beyond our control, we cannot assume any responsibility of their use by the customer.
